The studies supporting the action of green coffee bean extract
Taking polyphenols in the form of supplements has been shown to improve dry and flaky skin. This has been documented in double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled studies.

Study 1
In an eight-week study, 49 Asian women (aged 25-40 years) with dry skin used a daily dose of 270 mg of coffee polyphenols  (Fukagawa 2017). As a result, skin dryness improved significantly and hydration increased.

Study 2
